Super Exciting News!!!

I decided to participate in the Miller's Baby & Child Contest this year which has been going on since March and runs until June.  As a professional photographer we can enter 1 image from each of our sessions beginning January 2010.  The prizes in this competition go to the family of the winning child's image and are awesome with the Grand Prize being $5,000! 

Well......One of our images has been chosen to be in the final round of judging in July!!!  Little Miss Tara is beautiful as you can see and she just might be a little richer this summer!  It is soooo exciting just to be a winner of one of the 4 rounds since there are THOUSANDS of images entered in each round.  Keep your fingers crossed that the judging panel feels the same way about Tara's image as my fellow pros!  Thanks to any of my fellow Miller's professionals for your vote!   I'll post the verdict when it's all said and done....until then...Isn't she adorable!

Out of the Office

Out of the Office

We are out of the office until Friday, November 13th. If you would like an appointment for the Classic Christmas special on November 14 or Merry and Bright on November 21 or to schedule a regular session please either message me via the Contact Us link on the website or call 620-223-6053 and leave a message. We will return all calls and emails and take appointments in the order we received them as soon as we return to the studio. Any of you with orders due in will be contacted as soon as your order is ready for pick up or delivery. Online albums that have not been posted will also be available as soon as possible when we return. Hope you all have a wonderful week and we plan to return rejuvenated to take on the holiday season rush!!!

Thank you so much to all of the families who participated in our Photos For Food Halloween event! The Beacon will be getting a much needed delivery tomorrow! I love to see people give back to those in our community. I have the best clients ever!!! All of the kiddos (and puppies) looked adorable in their costumes. I will be posting images soon!

Okay...so the album viewer is back in working order (thank goodness) and all images are on their way to upload as I type. Crisis Averted!

Our album uploader is experiencing technical difficulties at the moment. The tech department is only available Mon-Fri so all images that were to be posted this weekend will not be able to be posted until Monday (fingers crossed). I am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you and I am trying my hardest to resolve the issue. Gotta love technology:(

New Website Is Finally Up!

Okay..Finally! The new Memory Lane Photography website is up and running! I have been working on it between sessions, albums, volunteering and at any free moment I could get. I think it came out great. What do you think? I will be adding the Senior and Wedding Gallery soon and will also be adding a Products page to show you all of the great new products we have now! Samples are coming so I am trying to be patient...it's so hard though! We will be a little hard to reach this coming week since the website is now finished and it's time to remodel the studio! All of the new samples will look especially great on newly painted walls with bright, shiny new lights glowing down on them. Can't wait for you all to see the transformation! New "Backgrounds"

We are making a ton of updates and changes here at Memory Lane Photography! We have added two new "backgrounds" to our camera room and will be adding a third this week (hopefully). Here are a few pictures of Miss MacKenzie with the new digs. I love them and hope you do too! Check back soon for a sneek peek at the other one. We will also be introducing a bunch of new products that I just know are going to be must-haves! We will be having a Spring Cleaning Sample Sale very soon so watch for emails and facebook fan updates to see if we have any available of your children or family.

Catch Up...Again

Well, here we are in 2009 and I think it's gonna be a great year! I have so much to share with you since I didn't get to blog hardly at all during the holiday season. I want you all to know how much I appreciate your continued business even in this crazy crummy economy.
As you can see from the home page our construction is finally progressing along. I don't know what I was thinking doing a full website update in peak picture season. I really didn't think it was going to take as long as it did and I'm still not completely finished. The wedding and senior sections are not fully operational yet but I'm hoping to have these going by the end of next week.

The new Winter Specials Calendar is up in the "Specials" link on the main page so check it out to see whats coming up. I am so excited about the new session for Valentines Day it is going to be so cute and fun so call ASAP so you don't miss it!

Go to the FEEDBACK link on the main page and let me know what you think of the new site operations. I am always open to your sugestions and thoughts.

Online Album Tech Problem

For those waiting on albums that were to post this weekend, we are having technical difficulty with our online album upload program. I have been working on this problem all weekend and can not get the albums to post to the website. I will be contacting the tec support department as soon as they are available on Monday morning (as they are not available on weekends:( ) I apologize for this delay and please know that I am as upset about it, if not more, than anyone. I will contact all by phone tommorow with any updates I may have on the situation.

Construction Site or Site Construction?

I hope everyone is still finding everything okay on the website. I'm sorry for any confusion the update and construction may cause any of you but I really think the site will be so much better once the update is complete. I am hoping to have everything up and running by the end of this week. The site will be divided into 4 sections specifically for each distinctive area of our work. There will be galleries, product info, session options, package options, feedback links and contact links in each section, as well as a link for the View My Album, Blog, Specials, Feedback and Contact Link on the main page. Be sure to keep checking back as we will be updating and bloging often! Let me know what you think!

Warm Weather Is Here!

I'm so happy to be able to shoot outside with the wonderful shade trees and beautiful green grass again.

It's been a busy Spring and I know I have been a little hard to reach lately, but I'm happy to say that Josh and I are now husband and wife! The wedding and honeymoon were both fantastic and it's time to start the Summer portrait season and get back on track.

Our Specials for May, June, July and August are posted in the "SPECIALS" Link under Calender Of Events and should have arrived in the mailboxes of my mailing list members.
