Wonderful Wedding

I love weddings.  Sure they are alot of work but there is just no better feeling than sharing in an event filled with so much love and emotion.  I shared a spring day with Amy and Keith in mid-April for their special day and I must say that it was just beautiful.  The sky was blue, the sun was shining, the bride was gorgeous and everyone was happy.  The ceremony took place at one of my favorite churches in town, the First Prebyterian.  I love the history and the architecture of this church so much inside and out.  Here are just a few of my very favorites to share.  You can feel the joy coming out of these images!:)

Congratulations Amy & Keith!  I wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

{Product Feature} Signature Guest Book

Here is another one of our fabulous Custom Signature Guest Books.  This one belongs to Amy & Keith and it will be seeing alot of action this Saturday at their wedding here in Fort Scott.  I will have to shoot a few images of this baby at work being filled by @ 300 guests!  I'm sure it will be a beautiful and memorable event since they are such an adorable & fun couple.  Congratulations, Amy & Keith!  Can't wait!

{Product Feature} Guest Book

I love all of the new products that have come out recently but this one is one of my absolute favs!  This is the new custom Guest Book for my Wedding clients.  This beauty is included in our Wedding packages A, B & C.   It is a 6x9 hard cover book with 24 pages with @ 50 images from the (complimentary) engagement session and space on each page for all of your guest's signatures and well-wishes.  I love this as a companion to the traditional wedding album because, more often than not, the engagement portraits never get a chance to "shine" or be properly displayed with the anticipation of the enormous number of wedding images that are soon to follow.  Now you have a complete album of your engagement images with the loving words of your closest friends and family mixed in. What could be better than that?!

The bridge where he proposed

Lay-flat pages make for easy display and signing

I'll have to get a shot of it now that it has been signed and filled in with love:)

A Day for Love

How did I spend Valentine's Day?

I can't think of a better way to spend a holiday dedicated to LOVE than photographing the wedding of one of my oldest and dearest friends in my life. It was such a beautiful time....very cold, but who noticed really. A small Sunday afternoon ceremony shared with family at Mary Quenn of Angels Catholic Church here in Fort Scott. I am so happy for you Chrissy and Darren and I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness. Congratulations!

Warm Weather Is Here!

I'm so happy to be able to shoot outside with the wonderful shade trees and beautiful green grass again.

It's been a busy Spring and I know I have been a little hard to reach lately, but I'm happy to say that Josh and I are now husband and wife! The wedding and honeymoon were both fantastic and it's time to start the Summer portrait season and get back on track.
