Meet Madeline. Isn't she just the sweetest little bundle of cuteness?! Only a few days old and oh so teeny tiny. Congratulations Larsen family!!! She is just beautiful.

New Video in Slideshows!!!

I am so excited about our newest product! We have been including a slide show DVD in some of our portrait packages for awhile now, but we just recently have starting integrating video in them as well as the images from the session. I love them so much because they make you feel more like you are there enjoying the moment all over again! Here are just a couple from some recent sessions.

Out of the Office

We are out of the office until Friday, November 13th. If you would like an appointment for the Classic Christmas special on November 14 or Merry and Bright on November 21 or to schedule a regular session please either message me via the Contact Us link on the website or call 620-223-6053 and leave a message. We will return all calls and emails and take appointments in the order we received them as soon as we return to the studio. Any of you with orders due in will be contacted as soon as your order is ready for pick up or delivery. Online albums that have not been posted will also be available as soon as possible when we return. Hope you all have a wonderful week and we plan to return rejuvenated to take on the holiday season rush!!!

Thank you so much to all of the families who participated in our Photos For Food Halloween event! The Beacon will be getting a much needed delivery tomorrow! I love to see people give back to those in our community. I have the best clients ever!!! All of the kiddos (and puppies) looked adorable in their costumes. I will be posting images soon!

A Little Taste of Summer

It's a cloudy, rainy, fall day today so I thought I would post a few summer cuties that didn't get posted yet. If you have a tooth ache or are diabetic you may want to look away because the sweetness is almost unbearable!

The first is the frame by frame distruction of a poor innocent ice cream cone in the hands of sweet little Camrie! YUMMY!

Below are the little cuties that joined me in the tall grass for the June Bugs and Butterfly special a few months ago...oh summer sun how we miss you so (sigh)

A chill is in the air and the leaves are starting to turn golden and red so it's time for cozy sweaters and earthy tones for beautiful fall portraits just in time for the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

Today's picks are for a brother and sister for in studio and outdoor session with the beautiful autumn colors. A good variety of solid and bold patterns make for endless possibility of great locations from nature to urban settings.

Foto Fashion Friday

A couple of weeks ago we outfitted a baby girl for a one year session so it's only fair this week to outfit a toddler boy for his 2 year session on the arrival of fall. I love layered outfits and I especially LOVE hats! Cool colors, lots of layers for lots of options and best of all...oh so adorable hats. Enjoy!

On The Move

Little Mr. Gunner is 9 months old already (sigh). Ohhh how I adore this little man. He just absolutly lights up my day! He was even "posing" for me this time all on his own and is now on the move. His new little pearly whites made an appearance this session and they are oh so cute! His mommy and daddy are soooo lucky to have a baby like him. Thank you so much Dustin and Ashley for such an adorable little model!

Drake & Mo

I always love my sessions with Drake & Mo! They are so spunky and full of energy. It was not quite as easy this year to get a hug out of Drake (he's too cool to hug a girl...yuck!) but he took one for the team like a trooper. They are both getting so big I'm shocked every time I see them! Just a few of my favs.

Foto Fashion Friday

Today's Foto Fashion is for a family with two tween boys for an in studio and urban location session. I love the bold aqua with the dark chocolate and denim accents. The subtle stripes and little punch of plaid add interest without distracting from the portrait. A great collection for an end of summer portrait with the cool colors and summer fabrics....before we give in to earth tones and sweaters.

Stud Muffins

These two handsome little devils are Weston & Ty. They are all boy through and through and definitly keep me on my toes! They are so handsome and funny. I love the first one where they are hugging but of course, as with all boys, a hug always turns into a wrestling match! I have been photographing them both since they were babies and they are growing into quite the little young men. Here are a few of my favs...

Foto Fashion Friday

Today is a variety for a 1 or 2 year old little girl with some natural tones and a punch of color for an awesome variety sure to please your girly side. The khaki and tan tones would be great for a natural outdoor setting and the bold colors for some studio or urban shots. I love, love, love the hot pink petty skirt and beany hat with giant peony!!! I would also do the pink chucks with the petty skirt and hat with some big pink baloons! Too cute!

New Fav

Okay.. this is my new favorite family photo. Any of you who know little Tara know that she has a BIG personality in a little bitty body. I love how she is trying to be sooooo big and tall just like mom and dad. We had a deal that we would blow bubbles outside if she sat still and it was so windy (hence the natural wind-blown look) that the bubbles were blowing by themselves!

okay..it's not Friday but I should get a little credit for posting on a Sunday. Today I did the wardrobe for a more formal portrait that could be done in an urban outdoor or indoor session for a family of 4 with 2 little girls. The black, white and grey theme is classic and timeless and will look great with any decor. The sleek, straight lines add a contemporary edge to the portrait and the dots on the little girls dresses in the second outfits add a little playfulness. I love this combo!

Big Man Blaiton

Well I can't believe it but little mister Blaiton is 2 years old already! He rocked out with his Harley for his 2nd birthday pictures and we both loved every minute of it (he almost ran me over!). And, of course, no session would be complete without his beautiful big sisters, Aubry and Shaylee! Great session, great pics, adorable kids...what more do ya need! Here are a few of my favs...

I often get asked the question 'what should we wear for our session?' and of course the answer is always different based on each unique family or child sooooo....I decided to start Foto Fashion Friday here on the blog to help stir your creative side. Each Friday (hopefully) I will post a collection of outfits pulled off the internet to give you ideas for your clothing choices. Please realize that not all suggestions will fit all families but we will try to go with different styles (casual, dressy, western, in-doorsy, outdoorsy, etc.) to give a good variety. So for the first Foto Fashion Friday I outfitted a casual, young famiy with one boy and one girl for casual outdoor session. I hope this gets your creative juices flowing ( plus it gives me an excuse to shop online without spending any money:) ) Enjoy!

Cutie Patooties!

These two adorable babies are beautiful Miss Taryn and handsome little Jacob. They are both new members of my Baby's First Year Program and these are from their 3 month sessions..aren't they soooo cute! I have the greatest job in the World!
